Accessibility statement

Last updated: 2026-10-11. Last accessibility review: 2026-10-11.

Our commitment

snaper wants every person, including people with disabilities, to be able to find events, register, receive their personal link and manage events. We work to meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013.

Conformance status

Our target is Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA, and WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Status: partial conformance; work in progress. The public pages, event sites, registration and attendee pages are close to the target. The organizer panel (/admin) does not yet meet it, and we do not claim full conformance.

What was checked, and when

On 2026-10-11 we reviewed 28 routes in Hebrew and English, in light and dark themes, using an automated script, keyboard-only testing and code review. This was not yet a review by assistive-technology users or a full screen-reader pass.

What is already accessible

  • Correct page language and direction (Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right) on every page.
  • Landmarks, a skip-to-content link and a logical heading order on public pages.
  • Keyboard operation and visible focus on public, registration and attendee pages.
  • Labelled form fields and announced error messages on registration, login and join forms.
  • Reduced motion is respected, and layouts reflow at 320px on public pages.

Known limitations

  • Organizer panel: some form fields are labelled only by a placeholder, and some secondary text may have low contrast. We are fixing these.
  • The seating canvas is drag-and-drop with a pointer and is not operable by keyboard. Alternative: the Seating tab lets you assign every attendee to a table with a drop-down list.
  • The check-in display board refreshes itself automatically. It is intended for an unattended screen.
  • Some items on the check-in screen are small touch targets.
  • Event pages are designed by each organizer; colors and text they choose may not meet contrast requirements.
